Who Are We?

Auburn Cinefile Society is a not for profit 501c3 charitable organization.  Our mission is to to promote classic film and film exhibition and to preserve, promote, record and facilitate a dialog regarding film and film and theater history.

Music Movies & More at Hoopes Park in Auburn, NY.

Enjoy great music, a good movie, food and ice cream available. Be sure to bring a blanket or chairs. Every Tuesday in July and August.

July 24th

Come join us for a a night of films at Syracuse's Arts & Crafts Festival.  We'll be right by the State Tower Building.  We will be screening Syracuse International Film Festival's Best of Fest from the past several years from 8:30 – 11pm Friday, July 24, under the stars at the City Hall Commons. The screening is free and open to the public. All films are appropriate for ages 10 and over, many being wonderful animations from Korea, the Czech Republic, and the US. Others are short fiction and documentary.

Films include among others to be determined:
STARRY NIGHT (England) starring the late Natasha Richardson
HISTORIAS DE VIENTO (VENEZUELA) - documentary
FISH FOSH (Korea) - animation
ANIMATED AMERICAN (US) - fiction
HAIRDRESSING (CZECH REPUBLIC) - animation
STEAM (Korea) - animation
PRETTY UGLY (US) - animation
